Upcoming PS5 Games: The Most Awaited PS5 Games for 2021

The world has been waiting for new upcoming PS5 games for months now. Right now, there’s next to nothing that is designed specifically for the console. Sure, there’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, as well as Cyberpunk:2077 and Returnal, and even Resident Evil: Village. However, your options pretty much run out there.

That being said, there are some pretty incredible titles coming out for the PS5 in 2021. So here is a list of the 5 2021 PS5 games to watch out for.

1. Far Cry 6

Once you see Giancarlo Esposito on anything, you should immediately be sold. However, this game is a long-awaited entry in the Far Cry franchise set in the tropical island of Yara. This time, you’re a guerrilla fighter leading a resistance against the ruling dictatorship.

Far Cry 6 comes out October 7th, 2021.

Of course, Esposito plays the big baddie. There’s not much we know about the gameplay, but it’s going to be a hell of a ride.

2. Horizon Forbidden West

The breathtaking beauty of the original Horizon: Zero Dawn is still etched in collective memory. The sequel promises a dangerous new world, where our heroine Aloy is on a path to cure a deadly virus.

The trailer showed mechanical beasts, wondrous landscapes, and a lot of galloping near the sea. This may mean we could get underwater levels in the game.

The release date is still unknown.

3. Gotham Knights

One of the most anticipated of the upcoming PS5 games, Gotham Knights is set right after the death of Bruce Wayne. The first gameplay trailer of Gotham Knights showed Batgirl and Robin fighting Mr. Freeze. With game mechanics resembling the Arkham series of games as well as beautiful cinematography, this promises to be a treat.

The gameplay is also said to be adaptable as our heroes gain XP and more skills. So the boss fights may be radically different when you first start out compared to when you’re more battle-hardened.

A release date is still unknown.

4. God of War: Ragnarok

The sequel to the beloved fourth entry in the God of War franchise is highly anticipated. It will see Kratos, the iconic Ghost of Sparta battle against the God of Thunder himself. That’ll be a refreshing change from the MCU version that we’ve grown used to.

Judging from the ominous nature of the trailer, we may even get a battle with the All-Father Odin himself.

A release date is still unknown.

5. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

With a title like that, we’re all going to play it. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a new offering from Rocksteady, the guys who brought you the Arkham series of games.

The trailer included a peek at the setting we could expect. Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerage were all there along with King Shark. There was also an evil Superman in the mix.

A release date is still unknown.

With all these games coming out for the PS5 this year, you should get your wallets ready!
