Belgian company Creaceed aims to bring constant innovation through its OCR solution Prizmo, which continues evolving and delivering new features to suit the digital era. Prizmo has earned its popularity through convenient features and ease of use and at $49.95 USD, it is one of the most affordable OCR applications available. Prizmo for OS X is designed to work with cameras and scanners and it offers a simple way to capture and extract text from photos taken with your iPhone or iPad. You can also select images from a digital camera and process them using the OCR functions.

Prizmo also works with scanners supported by Apple and it allows you to determine the area that you wish to scan, adjust the resolution and select the format. Once the document has been scanned, you will be able to process it with OCR. With Prizmo, you can also apply OCR to screenshots for improved resolution and accuracy. Additionally, Prizmo gives you the chance of copying text from any website or program, even if it has been set to be un-selectable. Prizmo recognizes and lets you process text on your screen and you can keep it in the clipboard, ready to be pasted in an email or any other document.
