Those who are after a stylish, unique design for their smartphone will be happy to know that Samsung Galaxy S5 has partnered with Swarovski to offer customized gleaming covers for their devices. The covers covered with Swarovski crystals were launched in South Korea last week and are set to be released in the UK market in the coming weeks. The covers for the most popular smartphone of the Galaxy series will be available in two colours: Mystic Black and Vibrant Blue.
In addition to the covers for the S5, Swarovski is also launching Charm Sliders to give an extra blink to Samsung’s smartwatch Gear Fit. The Charm Sliders sport a small bar where you can swing any of their designs, which are available in a wide selection of colours and models, including a Crystal Skull, Crystal Star, Blue Star, Siam Heart, Golden Shadow Lips pieces and a Light Rose Heart.
Swarovski and Samsung had worked together before as they bling treatment was applied to offer shiny versions of Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S3 mini but these models were only made available in Thailand, South Korea and Germany. A golden Galaxy S5 (similar to iPhone’s golden 5s) was also released. Other manufacturers such as HTC, have released limited editions of their devices, which also feature a golden appearance and luxury design. However, some of these devices were not for sale but only available as prizes in promotional campaigns.
